Lost Kingdoms of Africa I

In this four-part series, British art historian Dr. Gus Casely-Hayford sets off on a quest to rediscover the pre-colonial history of some of Africa's most important kingdoms: Nubia, ancient Ethiopia, Great Zimbabwe, and West Africa. The series reveals that Africa's stories are preserved for us not only in its treasures, statues and ancient buildings, but in the culture, art and legends of the people.
