Knowledge Network is British Columbia's public broadcaster. We belong to you. And because we have no commercial or corporate funding, we simply wouldn't exist without your support. Here's where our money comes from, and where it goes.
Our Budget
Knowledge Network relies strongly on the support of our viewers. In fact, 1/3 of our operating budget comes from viewer donations.
Government Grant
Knowledge Network costs British Columbians the equivalent of one cup of coffee per person, per year.
BC's Storyteller
More than 40% of our programming budget supports original stories told by BC and Canadian filmmakers.
