Season 8: Ep: 1 "Invaders of the Isles"
This season, our team of experts explore invaders of all kinds, from a forgotten WWI Zeppelin blitz to an onslaught of water voles, tell surprising stories of love and death at sea, and look at the secrets of Britain's magnificent sea cliffs. They'll even get to indulge their own passions. For Nick Crane, that means heading to his beloved Western Isles in Scotland to attempt a long-coveted mountaineering challenge on the Isle of Skye, while Ruth Goodman takes knitting needles in hand in the picturesque Cornish seaside village of Polperro.
