Havers is learning Akido at a retreat in Cornwall. Lynley is also in Cornwall visiting his mother when a horse trainer who lives on a neighbouring estate is found hanged in his stable. (2 of 4)

Lynley and Havers are assigned to a new case back in London following the discovery of a body floating in the Thames. (3 of 4)
