Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries
Season 2
The Honourable Miss Phryne Fisher is back, and she’s as daring and delightful as ever! Once again, self-appointed lady sleuth Phryne is putting her pearl-handled pistol and dagger-sharp wit to good use as she tracks down criminals in 1920s Melbourne. From the shadowy lanes of the city to the halls of academia, from high-class brothels to haute couture, Phryne defends the innocent and juggles admirers with her usual panache, all the while keeping up her delicious dance around Detective Inspector Jack Robinson. And that’s not just speaking metaphorically: in the season opener, Phryne’s sizzling “fan dance” at a gentlemen’s club, where she’s working undercover to solve a young girl’s murder, leaves Jack in stunned silence.
