Scotland’s Islands & Highlands
Some places are impossible to describe sufficiently, no matter how hard we try. The experience is so potent, so powerful, it must be felt through all five senses. Scotland is one of those places.
Her sounds: the melancholy wail of bagpipes, crashing waves and charming brogues.
Her sights? Landscapes so striking you’ll feel like you’ve dreamed them up. Ancient architecture, from stone circles and sprawling castles to thatched cottages in quaint highland villages. Lovely lochs (and perhaps a glimpse of the elusive Nessie?).
Tastes and smells include buttery shortbread, milky tea, and oaky scotch whisky (or perhaps peated if you prefer?). For the brave at heart, haggis; or if organs aren’t your thing, maybe some hearty mince and tatties.
To the touch, Scotland is warm and toasty village pubs, woolly tartans, and sea spray on your face as you sail from isle to beautiful isle.
But why settle for mere words? We want you to experience the islands and highlands of Scotland for yourself.
Enter now to be the lucky winner of our Scotland’s Islands & Highlands Contest and enjoy the sights and sounds of this dreamy destination (plus the other senses too).
