Common Questions

When do I get my tax receipt?
Tax receipts that reflect all your monthly gifts during the calendar year less the Fair Market Value of any special offer you received are sent by mail early in the next calendar year, typically toward mid or late February.
Can I make monthly donations from my bank account?
Yes. In fact, pre-authorized debit from your bank account is the most cost-effective way to give a monthly gift, meaning more of your donation supports the Knowledge service. You can set up your monthly gift by credit card using this form and then contact us to switch at any time to your bank account. Or, please phone us if you'd like to arrange a monthly bank withdrawal from the start.
When do my monthly donations stop?
Whenever you want them to. Your monthly donation will automatically be taken from your bank account or credit card on the 15th of each month. If you would like to stop your donation, simply call or email us and we will arrange it as soon as possible but within 5 business days at the latest.
Can I order a Special Offer?
Yes. Monthly donors are welcome to order a special offer as long as the required donation level for that item is equal to or less than your total projected annual donation. Special offers for monthly donors are held until the donations received meet the minimum donation required for that item. From that point they can take up to 6 weeks to arrive at your door depending on the item and whether we have it in stock.
How do I change or cancel my monthly donation?
Just give us a call or send us an email and we can arrange any change to your donation or cancel it altogether depending on your wishes.
How do I get K: Magazine?
When you fill in the donation form with an annual gift of $40 or more, you will be given the option to receive K: Magazine in the mail (6 issues per year). If you would prefer to receive it electronically, select “No Thanks” to a mailed copy, you will be asked if you would like it delivered to your home. If you would prefer to access an electronic version of the magazine, simply sign up to a knowledge web account here and you will receive an email link to each issue when it’s made available.
