Sami Yaffa is an accomplished musician who has toured the world in successful rock bands and earned a living as a street busker. Sound Tracker is his foray into World Music and begins in New York City.

Sami heads for the hills of Andalusia to immerse himself in the art form of flamenco, from the dancing to the making of instruments and the music, and along the way meets the guru of the genre.

Where is the birthplace of tango? In order to solve this quarrel between Buenos Aires and Montevideo, Sami follows in the footsteps of the legendary tango artists Carlos Gardel and Astor Piazzola.

Brazil is known for samba and bossa nova but the musical heritage of this country is more varied than that. Sami travels to Recife, where the musical traditions of the past meet the ideas of the future.
