Knowledge Network Documentaries Nominated for Multiple Canadian Screen Awards

The 2015 Canadian Screen Awards nominees in film, television and digital media were announced this week by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television. Three Knowledge Network commissions were among those nominated.

$212K Estate Gift to Knowledge Network Endowment

Burnaby, B.C. -- British Columbia’s Knowledge Network has received a $212,000 bequest from the estate of Doris Marion Beauchamp of Chemainus, B.C. It is the largest estate gift received since the establishment of the Endowment Fund in 2007.

Knowledge Network documentary Blood Relative Nominated for Canadian Screen Awards

The 2014 Canadian Screen Awards nominees in film, television and digital media were announced today by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television.

Blood Relative: Mumbai’s Forgotten Children, directed by B.C. filmmaker Nimisha Mukerji and commissioned by British Columbia’s Knowledge Network, received three nominations: Donald Brittain Award for Best Social Political/Documentary Program, Best Direction in a Documentary Program and Best Picture Editing in a Documentary Program or Series.
