Coast Australia
Season 1: Ep: 1 "The Kimberley"
Coast is on its biggest expedition ever. After exploring Britain and Europe for eight years, the popular series has hopped continents and gone Down Under for the journey of a lifetime. In this exploration of Australia’s spectacular coastline, host Neil Oliver is joined by a team of local experts who will dig deep into its archaeology, geography and marine life. As they set out to discover the diversity of this island nation, they’ll meet local characters who epitomize the resourceful nature of its people, reveal little-known stories about its past, and visit scenic hidden gems. Along the way, they’ll probe Port Arthur’s harsh penal history, walk in prehistoric dinosaur tracks, join a scientific hunt for dugongs, take to the air on a RAAF mission, and set foot on the isolated and rarely visited island of Skull Rock.
