Heartbeat
Season 15: Ep: 23 "Keeping Secrets"
Based on the Constable books by Nicholas Rhea, Heartbeat is a fast-moving series that evokes the mood of the swinging 60s in a peaceful countryside setting. Combining humour, drama and compelling characters, this is one of the UK's (and Knowledge Network's!) most successful drama series. The action centres around the local police, who have to solve a string of crimes whilst also dealing with loveable and roguish locals. In this newest series, PC Rob Walker and Dr Helen Kent struggle to keep their affair secret, and there are unexpected new romances for former lovers Gina and Bellamy. Meanwhile, Peggy continues to involve the hapless David in her devious schemes.
