I think of Knowledge as a stunning visual library. Every time you turn it on you discover something new, presented in such a beautiful way.

Knowledge Network allows you the opportunity to watch programming that is without an agenda. You’re basically getting what someone feels in their heart of hearts is really the legitimate and well-researched truth of the matter. That’s something worth preserving and paying for, I think.

When we had our wills done we decided to become legacy givers. We both feel really warm about doing that. We want to give back because Knowledge is just so good. We want it to keep going, and we know it will if we help out.

For me, it’s like armchair travelling. I support Knowledge because I get lots of enjoyment out of it – and lots of knowledge!

In his memory, Liz and her brothers decided to donate a portion of their father’s estate to the Knowledge Endowment. It’s a fitting tribute to a man who lived life to the fullest, and who loved nothing more than the wind in his sails and a gripping story.

I thought that it’s such a good service, I should give something to it. We always find something interesting to watch.
